RW Harold D. Strohl, PDDGM

                     Died: April 1, 2007

R.W. Strohl was born on March 13, 1919 in Noxen, Pennsylvania. He resided in
Westfield, New Jersey for the past 60 years and was employed by “FireFyter” as
production manager for CO2 until the company went out of business. He then
became the manager of the East Orange Employee Credit Union. He and his wife
Ruth were members of the 1st Baptist Church in Westfield, where he served as
Deacon.

R.W. Strohl received his Masonic Degree in Atlas Lodge No. 125 and was installed
Worshipful Master in 1966, He was appointed District Deputy Grand Master of the
13th Masonic District in 1981 and served for three years.  He was elected Secretary
of Atlas Pythagoras Lodge No.10 in 1991 and served in that capacity until his death
in 2007.

In the Scottish Rite he was Coroneted a 33º and in 1977 was Commander-In-Chief
of the New Jersey Consistory at the Valley of Northern New Jersey. He served as
Most Excellent High Priest in 1987 and in 1990 of Corinthian Chapter No.57, Royal
arch Masons, Westfield, N.J.  He was also Treasurer of Northern New Jersey
Council No.10, Knight Masons, U.S.A. and Puissant Sovereign of Saint Joseph
Conclave of the Order Of the Red Cross of Constantine.

Harold is survived by his wife (Ruth) and companion of 62 years.  They were
married on October 21, 1944.  He is also survived by their daughter Sharon married
to Keith Helsby and also by two grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

The 1st Baptist Church, 170 Elm Street, Westfield, New Jersey
Saturday, April 21, 2007 at 1:30 P.M.


A Memorial Dinner will be held at Atlas Pythagoras Lodge No. 10
Friday, May 4, 2007   Open to all Family and Friends
Communication at 7:15 P.M.   
Dinner at 8:00 P.M.
