| 13th Masonic District |
Grand Lodge practice was to number the Districts from the North to the South. Thus the 1st Masonic
District is up in Sussex County. It was not meant to connote the history of which lodges were established
first or last.
Here then is a short history of the 13th District!

92 - Pyramid Lodge, New Egypt

1906 - The same District Deputy, however the Grand Lodge notes say that he resigned midway through the year.

142 - Asbury Lodge, Asbury Park
1907 - New DDGM, Charles A. Minton of Mystic Brotherhood Lodge #21, Red Bank is appointed.
There are now 20 Districts in the State.
The lodges and Districts are reorganized. The 13th District is now is comprised of the following lodges:
21 - Mystic Brotherhood Lodge, Red Bank
61 - Raritan Lodge, Perth Amboy
63 - St. Stephen's Lodge, South Amboy
64 - Caesarea Lodge, Keyport
172 - Monmouth Lodge, Atlantic Highlands
1908 - The same District Deputy.

1909 - The same District Deputy.
One lodge is removed from the District:
61 - Raritan Lodge, Perth Amboy
1910 - The same District Deputy.
A new lodge is added:
192 - Matawan Lodge, Matawan
1911 - RW William M. Thompson is appointed the new DDGM. He is from Mystic Brotherhood Lodge #21.
One lodge is removed from the District:
63 - St. Stephen's Lodge, South Amboy
Five lodges remain:
9 - Washington Lodge, Eatontown
21 - Mystic Brotherhood Lodge, Red Bank
64 - Caesarea Lodge, Keyport
